Giving children the foundations to grow
Grad 1 and 2 students are taught separately and the lessons focus on the core elements of learning a language.
Classes incorporate basic grammar structures, vocabulary building, structured writing, reading and verbal communication.
The goal is to build students confidence and help them develop a strong foundation for future growth.
Refining their skills and developing communication
Grad 3 and 4 classes are merged and continue to focus on the main areas of language learning. The curriculum is split into four units on Saturdays; reading and comprehension, Writing, speaking and grammar.
Each unit is design to improve student’s weaknesses whilst building on knowledge already learned.
Our midweek classes focus on non-fiction reading, vocabulary building and conversation techniques.
Addressing their weaknesses for a Successful future
As students reach the end of elementary school we start to introduce more complex grammar structures, develop their vocabulary building skills by using context clues, introduce debates and opinion based writing techniques.
Our goal is to bring all elements of their English ability together which allows them to share their thoughts and ideas freely and confidently.
Developing their desire to become bilingual young adults
Our youth level program focuses on fine tuning the student’s English ability, helping them understand more complex grammar, building vocabulary and developing their understanding and use of homonyms.
We use age appropriate and interesting topics to further their comprehension skills and give them the confidence to communicate and challenge opinions in English.
