スピーチコンテストの審査基準について

・本スピーチコンテストは、参加者のコミュニケーション能力、自信、創造性の成長を称えることを目的としています。

・公平性と一貫性を保つため、すべての参加者は以下の 6つの観点 から評価されます：
発音・イントネーション・明瞭さ・リズム・ステージでの存在感・全体的な印象。

・審査員は、参加者の年齢・学年、およびスピーチ課題のカテゴリーを考慮した上で、公正に採点を行います。

・各項目は 5点満点 で評価され、点数が高いほど、言語運用能力やプレゼンテーション力が高いことを示します。

・本コンテストでは、制限時間の2分を過ぎても発表を途中で止めることはありません。ただし、 時間超過は審査に影響 しますのでご留意ください。

これらの審査基準を明示することで、参加者が前向きに準備に取り組めるよう、ご家庭および教育関係者の皆様にもご理解とご協力をお願い申し上げます。

Speech Contest Judging Criteria - What We Look For

・Our speech contest celebrates student growth in communication, confidence, and creativity.

・To ensure fairness and consistency, all participants are evaluated in six key areas:
pronunciation, intonation, clarity, rhythm, stage presence, and overall impression.

・Judges take into account the student's age, grade level, and whether the speech is original or pre-written, adjusting expectations accordingly.

・Each category is scored out of 5 points, with higher scores reflecting stronger language and presentation skills.

・While we encourage students to speak clearly and confidently within a 2-minute time limit, there is no strict cut-off. However, exceeding this guideline may affect scoring.

By sharing these criteria, we aim to support families and educators in preparing students for a positive and rewarding experience.
